MAGNIFICENT WINNER OF THE DERBY EQUESTRIAN BRONZE SCULPTURE, Pierre Jules (1810-1879) sculpted his famous Vainqueur du Derby in 1863. Ours is a particularly fine modern casting with great detail. The most popular of Jules racing studies. The wax model was exhibited at the Salon in 1863, with a bronze version following a year later. We have cast this horse sculpture of the finest silicon bronze in the hands of the talented artisans in our United States art foundry.
